Tom Wright a former roomate of Pete Townshend (who introduced Pete to R&B ) invited The Wholigans to play at the opening of his exhibit in Traverse Michigan in 2003, where he asked the band to recreate the first 3 songs Tom had heard The Who play in the USA at The Grande Ballroom.

Pete said of Tom ….

“Had I not met Tom Wright”…”The Who would not have become successful”

Tom would eventually became road manager for The Who as well as a famous rock photographer, photographing Joe Walsh, Rod Stewart & The Faces.
