THE WHOLIGANS The Original and Ultimate WHO Tribute since 1982.  The worlds longest running and most successful Who tribute act, The Wholigans have toured and continue to tour  USA, CANADA, ENGLAND, GERMANY and continues to add more countries every year.

The Wholigans: The Ultimate and Original Tribute to the WHO have been entertaining Who fans since 1982.  Originally formed in Toronto Canada by Barry Quinn ( aka Roger Daltrey ) who had emigrated from Newcastle, England.

The Wholigans toured Canada and the USA from 1982-1992 and were among the pre-eminent tribute bands in the music scene.  Barry then moved to Florida before resurrecting the band in late '99-2000.  Since then it seems fans still have a hunger for the music of The Who, and The Wholigans are now more popular than ever, playing Who conventions in Germany , NYC and England.

The band has played festivals in the USA for  between 100,000 and 400,000 people , and also played at a Who show at the Ice Palace in Tampa in 2000 before 12,000 Who fans ,who applauded the band with every chord struck, which could have quite easily gone the other way.

The Wholigans have also played 3 WHO conventions since 2003, two of those in London England, and one in Germany . The most recent in 2006 http://www.whoconvention.com.

The Wholigans capture not only the sound and essence of The Who but could easily pass for the original members of The Who.  The band concentrates on the Live at Leeds era , but their set list contains a majority of the most popular material from The Who’s catalogue from day one until the untimely death of Keith Moon.

From the stage clothes to the authentic stagegear + capturing the mannerisms of The Who ,The Wholigans bring back memories of a Who of yesteryear which has to be seen to be believed. 

With the thrashing windmills of Pete Townshend to the mic swinging of Roger Daltrey and the incredible drumming style of Keith Moon combined with the thunderfingers of John Entwistle. 
The Wholigans seem to have captured the total package that is The Who.
